10 deserving TPS students receive new bikes from local businesses
The students were excited to ride their new Christmas gifts.
TOLEDO, Ohio — Today was a special day at Wersell’s Bike Shop in Toledo.
“Those who work hard in school should be rewarded,” said Mike Bruno, a lawyer with Charles Boyk Law.
And awarded with new bikes were 6 TPS students who go above and beyond in the classroom.
“We loved getting to see all the masked smiles, this morning, and seeing everybody getting well-fit on a bike that they’re excited to get out and ride. It’s a great reward,” said Ben Langlois, manager of Wersell’s Bike Shop.
The students were excited to receive their new bikes, which were the result of their hard work in the classroom. Both Wersell’s and Boyk were happy to be able to give back this holiday season, especially to kids that are so deserving.
“We’ve been working with Charles Boyk’s law office to find out what kids are gonna be receiving their award and how tall they are and what kind of bike they like to ride,” said Langlois.
