2017 homicide suspect arrested
The suspect was already in jail for other reasons.

TOLEDO, Ohio — On August 5th, 2017, Toledo Police were dispatched to 3240 Lagrange on the call of a person shot. Officers arrived on scene and located the victim, Calvin Gholikely, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Gholikely was treated at the scene and transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital where he later died. Detectives responded to the scene and opened an investigation.
On Jan. 7, 2021, the ongoing investigation resulted in Michael Richardson being charged with Murder. Richardson is currently incarcerated on unrelated charges.
