2021 Solheim Cup: Fan Fest at Promenade Park
Festivities kick off the afternoon of Friday, September 3rd.
TOLEDO, Ohio — The 2021 Solheim Cup is expected to bring over 100,000 people to Toledo, and the golf tournament kicks off with Fan Fest at Promenade Park in downtown Toledo, starting at 2 p.m. The event will be home to the Solheim Cup opening ceremony at 5:00, as well as a Gwen Stefani concert at 8:30. Then, at 10 p.m., a fireworks display will light up the sky over the Maumee River in downtown. There will also be performances at Levis Square, including musician Jeff Stewart at 2:30, the Amelia Airharts at 4, and Ramona Collins at 6:15.
Park N Ride lots will open at 1:00 p.m. Shuttles will begin running from the lot to the event at 1:30 and will run approximately every 15 minutes throughout the day. The last shuttle will leave at midnight, from the event site in downtown Toledo, and arrive at the lots.
