2022 Perrysburg Winterfest brings out a crowd, despite deep freeze
The event was surely a success.
PERRYSBURG, Ohio — This morning, Downtown Perrysburg Incorporated hosted its 12th annual Perrysburg Winterfest on Louisiana Avenue.
The streets of historic downtown Perrysburg were lined with ice sculptures, live carving demonstrations, large inflatables, firepits and s’mores, a paper airplane launch, scavenger hunt, and much more.
“It’s fun! It’s great for the kids, it’s great to get them outdoors and be active,” said Ruthann Passalacqua, who attended the winter festival. “The fresh air is great for the kids. So I don’t really think it’s cold — I love winter!”
Downtown businesses were open, allowing attendees the opportunity to warm up and participate in some additional activities.
