2024 delivers highest first quarter YouTube viewership in five years

TOLEDO, Ohio — An analysis of YouTube data between my 2019 start in news and now shows that the first quarter of 2024 (January 1st — April 1st) has been the strongest first quarter in total viewership since the very beginning.
53,000 views, which added up to 624 hours (or 26 days) of total watch time, beats the first quarters of 2019 (345 views), 2020 (6,824 views), 2021 (19,464 views), 2022 (14,949 views), and 2023 (14,347 views).
