Why, hello there! My name is Jaden Jefferson and I'm a 16-year-old reporter, anchor, and producer. My journey to becoming an award-winning, nationally-recognized journalist began in 2019, with coverage of events in my hometown of Toledo, Ohio. That same year was when I had my "big break" — an interview with presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren. That was followed by appearances on CBS This Morning, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, as well as many write-ups in national publications, including The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Root, and many others. And just when things couldn't get better, I was to soon make one of many appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where I was provided the opportunity to interview influential celebrities, including Oprah Winfrey, Brad Pitt, tennis phenom Naomi Osaka, and Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet. My final appearance on the show took place in 2022, when I interviewed Ellen herself, as part of her 19th and final season. As production wrapped, I refocused on contributing to the nationally-syndicated LIVE with Kelly and Mark, where I continue to make periodic appearances. While I cherish all of these experiences, my original passion for high quality, in-depth, community-oriented journalism burns brighter than ever! My coverage of breaking news, crime, health, business, and environmental issues continues to inspire, while also giving hope to a better, brighter future. That's in addition to contributing to the local radio scene, as well, on Q105.5. So, with that being said, buckle up and enjoy the ride!
