African American Festival returns this summer
And I have details!
TOLEDO, Ohio — In just 57 days, Promenade Park in downtown Toledo will undergo a major transformation for the African American Festival.
The festival is a rain or shine event, which will be held Saturday, July 15th. Gates open at 3:00 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at the Toledo Urban Federal Credit Union or Huntington Center Box Office. Tickets will also be available at the park on the day of the event. However, expect to pay $5.00 more.
The event is an all general admission event, according to organizers, so patrons requesting accessible seating should purchase a general admission ticket and will be accommodated upon their arrival at the venue.
The theme this year is a celebration of African American health, history, and education, with a lineup that includes Ginuwine, Stokley, and Mint Condition.
