Area Office on Aging of NW Ohio hosting event with vaccine incentives
The event takes place Thursday.
TOLEDO, Ohio — At a September 9th event at the Area Office on Aging,
those who receive a COVID-19 vaccine will also receive a $100 grocery gift card per household. The event goes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Area Office on Aging, 2155 Arlington Ave. People can schedule their appointment for the shot by calling the Area Office on Aging at 419-382-0624 or by visiting their website.
Both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available at the event. Those receiving their first dose or second dose are eligible for the grocery gift card. Those who are Aetna or Buckeye Community Health Plan members and are vaccinated at the event will receive an additional $100 gift card. Regardless of whether or not someone is vaccinated at the event, those in attendance will receive free food from food trucks, prizes and giveaways, as well as valuable information provided by local physicians.
