Arrest made in shooting at Whitmer football game
The shooting left three people injured.

TOLEDO, Ohio — The Toledo Police Department has announced that on Monday, U.S. Marshals arrested Jaron Phillips in Houston, Texas. Phillips had two warrants out for his arrest, which included Improper Handling of a Firearm and Failure to Comply. The warrants are not related to the following charges. Additional charges were filed *today* against Phillips:
Whitmer Shooting, October 7, 2022 | Felonious Assault x 3
Johnathan Coleman Murder, October 6, 2022 | Aggravated Murder, Attempted Murder x 2
Police say additional charges will be added at indictment.
