Breaking: All three defendants found guilty in Arbery murder
The verdict was closely-watched by the Arbery family and the rest of the county.
BRUNSWICK, Ga. — All three defendants have been found guilty in the murder of 25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery in Glynn County, Georgia.
Arbery was shot on February 23rd of last year, while jogging, by Gregory and Travis McMichael. The two confronted the young black male, who they believe stole something from a nearby construction site — something he did not in fact do. The confrontation was filmed by neighbor William “Roddie” Bryan, who today, was found guilty on 6 of 9 counts.
Travis McMichael was found guilty on all counts, while his father, Gregory, was found guilty on all but one count.
