TOLEDO, Ohio — The City of Toledo Department of Transportation, TDOT, is facilitating the transportation of ‘Cold Boxes’ from the Lucas County Port to North Star Steel. The move will require a slow rolling closure overnight along the route. Police and TDOT vehicles will accompany the transport.

The vehicle cannot exceed speeds of up to15mph, which is why traffic will be slowed and roads closed and reopened along the route as it moves through. Traffic will not be able to drive past the oversized vehicle for safety reasons.

The approved route is as follows:

Lee St. to Front St. to Oak St. to Woodville Rd. / Clayton St. (High Level Bridge) to Summit St. to Monroe St. to Bancroft St. to Detroit Ave. to Nebraska Ave. to Westwood Ave. to Hill Ave. to Byrne Rd. to Airport Hwy. and ending at Toledo city limits along Holland-Sylvania Road.
