City of Toledo celebrates one year since kickoff of “Home at Last” program
The program is providing home ownership opportunities to those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to own a hame.

TOLEDO, Ohio — The city of Toledo is celebrating one year since it launched the “Home at Last” program, a program that has provided down payment assistance to 50 new homeowners in the city.
“Homeownership can be tough, especially for first time homeowners. There are hurdles that have to be cleared,” said Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz, (D) Toledo.
First-time homebuyers whose income falls below the threshold are eligible for up to $7,500 to use toward the purchase of a home and up to $9,500 in target neighborhoods.
