City of Toledo to mark 20th anniversary of 9/11

TOLEDO, Ohio — The city of Toledo is welcoming the public to attend a ceremony in honor of the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

The ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Toledo Firefighters Memorial in Chubb DeWolfe Park at North Huron, Beech, and Orange streets.

Toledo Police, the Toledo Fire & Rescue Department, and the Lucas County Sheriff’s Department honor guards will participate in the ceremony.

Beech, North Huron, and Orange streets will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 7:30 a.m. until about 9:30 a.m.
