Community conversation regarding Glass City River Wall held Thursday
The project is expected to wrap in a matter of days.
TOLEDO, Ohio — A community conversation regarding the Glass City River Wall project was held Thursday evening at the main library branch in downtown Toledo with artist Gabe Gault, who crafted the mural, along with a crew of 30+ people. The event was moderated by Jason Kucsma, Director of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library.

Plenty of people were in attendance of today’s event, which helped to provide the community with information regarding the massive undertaking for our community.
“I think it’s definitely a talking point and I think, you know- it won’t be completed, but I think that’s part of the interesting part, is that it is a conversational piece in itself. And I think that it also puts Toledo on the map, it’s the largest mural in the country,” said Brooke Schlageter, an Educational Consultant and Learning Strategist.
Schlageter adds that the mural will provide Toledo with a unique, highly-visible gem, even once the 2021 Solheim Cup wraps up at the end of next week.
