COVID-19 In Ohio: The Latest
The latest numbers hint at a rise in cases among the unvaccinated.
TOLEDO, Ohio — Saturday, the state of Ohio reported 8,400 new cases of COVID-19, down from a reported 9,000 on Friday. While this signals a decrease, 8,400 is still a lot, considering the state was, at one point in August, reporting 2,000 to 3,000 cases a day.
Health experts stress the best way to prevent spread of the virus is simply getting vaccinated. So far, a little over 54% of the state is partially vaccinated.
