TOLEDO, Ohio โ€” Thursday, the Ohio Department of Health held a COVID-19 briefing, in which it was announced that every county in the state has at least one resident hospitalized for COVID-19.

ODH Director Dr. Bruce Vanderhoff says that the Delta surge the state has been experiencing has since plateaued.

โ€œIt appears the Delta surge has, in fact, plateaued. Nevertheless, we continue to see very high numbers of COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations,โ€ said Vanderhoff.

This comes at a time where booster shots are beginning to be administered statewide, including at the Lucas County Rec Center.
