Family mourning the loss of husband, father after Colton Street shooting

As of right now, there’s no known motive for the shooting.

TOLEDO, Ohio — On December 10th, Toledo Police officers were dispatched to 1121 Colton on the call of a person shot. Officers arrived and located the victim, Everardo Cheno, inside the residence. Cheno was suffering from at least one gunshot wound, and soon after, pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives then responded to the scene and opened an investigation.
