TOLEDO, Ohio — Former Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder has been ousted from his remaining position as state representative for House District 72. The 75–21 majority made it official that Householder, who allegedly led a bribery scheme funded by FirstEnergy to pass House Bill 6, a nuclear power plant bailout, will no longer serve on the state level — for now.
He has not been convicted of any crime, and maintains his innocence.
