TOLEDO, Ohio — Anyone who’s been in a car accident understands how scary the experience can be. But for a local woman, a scary time became a little less scary, with the help of a good samaritan that happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Watch the full story, here.

Jamie Spiess got into an accident at the corner of Jackman Road and Shady Lane in North Toledo. Lucky for her, there happened to be a kind woman who was pumping gas at the Speedway across the street. That woman sprung into action, checking to see if Spiess was okay. Now, Speiss wants to know who that angel was, so she can thank her.

“Sometimes there are times that nobody does stop or want to help you. I mean, so it was a blessing that she was there, you know, and did try to,” said Spiess.

Spiess says the woman was very comforting; reassuring her that she was going to be just fine.

“She, you know, was just kind of guiding me to stay over there and, you know, she’s like ‘you can sit in my car if you need to’. Just reassured me that I was going to be okay,” Spiess said.

She tells me, after the accident, driving is more nerve-racking, but she’s glad to know there are people willing to help at the drop of a hat.

“I mean, it’s a lot scarier being on the road and you have to be more cautious, you know, and just more alert,” she said.

If you are or happen to know the woman that helped Jamie out that day, feel free to contact me, or Jamie, via her Facebook page.
