Gov. Mike DeWine awards Toledo with $2.5 million H2Ohio grant
The city’s project is one of many others receiving money from the state.
TOLEDO, Ohio — Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has announced that a portion of the latest round of H2Ohio grant funding, to the amount of $2.5 million, will be going toward a project right here in Toledo.
According to a breakdown of the $16.7 million in total going toward projects across the state, the $2.5 million Toledo’s receiving will contribute to designing the replacement of one 78" diameter raw water main that carries water from Lake Erie for nine miles — starting at the Low Service Pumping Station — and ending at the Collins Park Water Treatment Plant.
