Gov. Mike DeWine issues 10 p.m. curfew due to rising COVID-19 cases

TOLEDO, Ohio — Gov. Mike DeWine has just issued a statewide 10 p.m. curfew, starting Thursday, in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.
“We’re issuing a curfew. The curfew will start Thursday at 10 p.m. for 21 days, and see how we’re doing. Retail establishments need to be closed and people should be home. That will run until 5 a.m. This will reduce some of the contacts that are taking place,” DeWine said.
Under this curfew, people are allowed to grab food via carry-out, get groceries, seek medical care or take care of any other essential business, similar to Ohio’s stay-at-home order from March.
Lt. Governor Jon Husted says that every family should have a plan for how they’re going to do Thanksgiving this year.
