Governor nominates deputy chief of staff for director position
TOLEDO, Ohio — LeeAnne Cornyn, deputy chief of staff for Governor Mike DeWine, has been nominated by him to lead the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services as its director.
According to the announcement from DeWine’s office, Cornyn has been working alongside the governor since his days as Ohio attorney general. Her previous work also included experience with regard to “children and those who suffer with mental illness and substance use disorder.”
However, before she can take the position, Cornyn must be confirmed by the Ohio Senate.
