TOLEDO, Ohio — Since Sunday, the Imagination Station has been inviting community members to get involved with ‘Toledo Speaks! A Community Mural Project’. The project is based on the mural being painted on the silos along the Maumee River in downtown Toledo. The science center has partnered with the Glass City River Wall project in inviting the community to share their Toledo story by creating a picture to be part of a larger mural that will be displayed inside the science center.

Watch the full story here.

“The mural is really just celebrating the collective voice of Toledo. So, we all have our own stories to tell, our own traditions that are important to us within Toledo and this is allowing everyone to have a little square to share their part of the story,” said Sloan Eberly Mann of Imagination Station.

This project continues through the end of the month at the tinkering space within Imagination Station. Just note that the science center is closed on Mondays, but open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
