WILMINGTON, Del. — Joe Biden has picked Kamala Harris as his running mate. Senator Harris and Vice President Biden will appear together at the Democratic National Convention in less than a week away.
The Biden Campaign has been under pressure to choose a woman of color, even though it is ultimately Biden’s choice.
A recent photo went viral showing the former vice president’s notepad that featured the name Kamala Harris and a sentence reading “don’t hold grudges”. Notably, Biden and Former President Barack Obama were at odds, eventually ran together and won. Biden and Harris were also at odds following a debate where Harris called out Biden’s stance on busing.
