Local Leaders Find Ways To Connect Residents To Police Force
TOLEDO, Ohio — During a press conference on Monday, local leaders announced new transparency measures to make the community aware of how police officers are trained. This comes after peaceful protests turned violent over the weekend and individuals became critical of how the police treated peaceful protestors.
It was announced that the TPD manual would be made public to the city’s website and that training sessions would be broadcast over Zoom or Facebook Live.
