Long-time City of Toledo department head retiring

TOLEDO, Ohio — City of Toledo Public Utilities Director Ed Moore will be retiring April 1st. He started with the city in November 1992 as an employee of Streets, Bridges & Harbor. He will, however, serve as an advisor for improvements to the wastewater treatment plant moving forward.

In The Meantime:

Doug Stephens (City of Toledo)

The city will appoint current director of the Department of Transportation, Doug Stephens, as Acting Director of the Department of Public Utilities, following Moore’s retirement. And with Stephens’ appointment, Commissioner of Road and Bridge Maintenance Jeremy Mikolajczyk will assume the role of Acting Director at TDOT.
