TOLEDO, Ohio — Political candidates create an average of 1 sign per 30 registered voters. With over 300,000 registered voters in Lucas County, that equates to 10,000 signs per candidate. The signs, however, can’t be disposed of in your normal recycling bin. Keep Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful will be collecting all yard sign types and sizes to send to a specialized processor. That way, they’re able to be recycled.

The following locations are accepting campaign signs through November 22nd:

  • Lucas County Democratic Headquarters: 1817 Madison Avenue, Toledo
  • Ottawa Hills Municipal BuildingL 2125 Richards Road, Ottawa Hills
  • City of Perrysburg Department of Public Services: 11980 Roachton Road, Perrysburg
  • Keep Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful: 1011 Matzinger Road, Toledo
