Lucas County commissioners seek applicants for vacancies on Mental Health and Recovery Services Board

TOLEDO, Ohio — The Board of Lucas County Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill 3 vacancies on the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Lucas County.

Applicants should have experience as a licensed mental health clinician, psychiatrist, or psychologist and have a faith-based, legal, recovery, or law enforcement background or expertise in equity and inclusion efforts. The Mental Health and Recovery Services Board’s mission is to cultivate a high-quality network of resources that inspire personal recovery and promote mental wellness for Lucas County residents.

Appointed trustees must be available to meet in person on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m. Information regarding the board can be found on their website.

The commissioners actively seek to appoint volunteer boards and commissions that reflect the diversity of the community. Anyone interested in applying for a board vacancy must complete a public volunteer application.
