Missing 4-year-old found dead in Hamilton Township
The discovery follows an hours-long search.

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Breaking overnight, Hamilton Township Police, just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio, found the body of a missing 4-year-old in a pond near her home in Warren County.
The 4-year-old, identified simply as “Emrie”, went missing Sunday afternoon.
Hamilton Township Police Chief Scott Hughes grew emotional, making the tragic announcement during an evening press briefing.
“Just before 8 o’clock, the dive team and the folks on the boats were scanning around the outside of the pond or near where the rocks were and unfortunately, they found Emrie’s body there in the pond,” Hughes said.
An investigation into little Emrie’s death is ongoing, as a heartbroken community, and her family, mourn.
