Multiple crashes result in traffic backups Friday afternoon

All of these incidents have since been cleared, but surely made for a messy afternoon commute, with both rain and headaches.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Multiple crashes this afternoon resulted in large backups across the Glass City.

We start with an incident on I-475 near Maumee, which had traffic backed-up for a few miles. OHGO had reported delays of up to 11 minutes.

Then, to the north in Sylvania, a crash caused delays on US-23 southbound. With police on scene, delays were reported as drivers crossed in Ohio.

Finally, over in north Toledo, the left lane was blocked on I-75 North, from I-280 South to Ottawa River Road, due to a crash there.
