TOLEDO, Ohio — So there’s Halloween, Thanksgiving is done, and now the next big holiday: Christmas. It’s another holiday that plenty of Americans will be celebrating with family or friends. It’s the third Christmas following 2020’s COVID holiday season, but people are still testing positive.

The Ohio Department of Health’s COVID-19 case data is updated on Thursdays, and the trend shows cases on the incline, which obviously doesn’t account for those who didn’t get tested and have it.

But the federal government is helping to fill that gap, offering up four, free, at-home tests to every home in the country. And if you didn’t order any at all this fall, that number doubles to eight. These are rapid tests that don’t require you to take them to a lab, but provide results in 30 minutes.

The website with how you can order online or call to order is covidtests.gov.
