New films coming to Imagination Station’s KeyBank Discovery Theater
The films begin screening after Christmas!
TOLEDO, Ohio — The Imagination Station has announced two new films will be coming to their KeyBank Discovery Theater on Monday. Tiny Giants and Mountain Adventure: Out of Bounds will be available for audiences six days a week at the science center.
Tiny Giants 3D
Meet miniature heroes in their worlds as they prove that the smaller you are the bigger the adventure. With jaw-dropping drama, this pioneering film reveals the great courage and skill essential to our planet’s smallest creatures to succeed in a titanic battle for survival.
A chipmunk in a wild wood and a grasshopper mouse in Arizona’s scorched deserts are both forced to grow up fast when they find themselves alone for the first time. Facing experienced rivals and huge predators, our chipmunk hero must find his courage to gather enough acorns for winter. Pushed out of the family home, our adolescent grasshopper mouse is forced to learn the skills to survive and lay claim to his own patch of the desert as he becomes an adult. Only by using their ingenious ‘superpowers’ can our heroes not only stay alive but also become masters of their universe.
Mountain Adventure: Out of Bounds 3D
Venture through the mountain’s most awe-inspiring vistas and discover the crucial role mountains play in our everyday lives while witnessing the most spectacular snowboard action ever brought to the giant screen!
Follow Olympian Torah Bright as she journeys through the world’s longest chain of mountain ranges extending from Antarctica all the way to Alaska. Torah will ride with backcountry legend Jeremy Jones and freeskiing superstar Sammy Carlson and together, they will encounter wildlife and meet with scientists and environmentalists to uncover a deeper understanding of our mountain ecosystems.
