Ohio COVID-19 Update: 2,326 new cases reported Tuesday

The Delta variant accounts for 93% of all new COVID cases, according to the CDC.

TOLEDO, Ohio — In its latest round of virus data, the Ohio Department of Health reported 2,326 new COVID-19 cases and 159 hospitalizations. The state hasn’t reported a one-day case count this high since it recorded 2,340 on April 13. The ODH reported 24 deaths, bringing the total to 20,580.

Tuesday, the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department issued an indoor mask advisory as case counts continue to climb locally. You can view the full advisory, here.
