Ohio Is Now Under A Stay-At-Home Order: What about me?
The State of Ohio is now under a stay-at-home order. This forces that all non-essential business be closed and all non-essential travel be halted. But what can you do? The restrictions are strict and specific. Activities that are not prohibited include walking your dogs, walking, going to the store, getting medication etc. Any essential travel is allowed although social distancing is encouraged.
There were additional developments that took place today that you should be aware of. Here is what you need to know while under this stay-at home order.
“I do not anticipate that the Ohio National Guard will have a role in the enforcement of the stay-at-home order. That would be in the scope of local law enforcement and the health departments.” Gov. DeWine tweeted yesterday.
Ohio Governor DeWine ordered the Ohio National Guard to assist in the efforts to test individuals for the coronavirus and to serve the underserved. He also noted that the order will not be enforced by law enforcement.
Additional coronavirus cases were announced during yesterday’s press conference, bringing the total of COVID-19 cases to 442. There are 10 confirmed cases as of yesterday in Lucas County. That number will only increase as more people get tested.
If you want details about the coronavirus on a national level, visit the Centers for Disease Control. On the international level you can visit the World Health Organization website.
