Ohio reporting significant spike in COVID-19 cases, deaths
Health officials are reiterating that despite the acquisition of additional COVID vaccine, now is not the time for Americans to let up their guard.

TOLEDO, Ohio — As Ohio’s vaccine rollout continues and those 16 and up receive the COVID-19 vaccine, renewed concern with regard to variants has resulted in Governor Mike DeWine making a plea to Ohioans to not let up their guard.
Saturday, the state reported 2,293 new virus cases and 63 additional hospitalizations.
The governor Mike DeWine announced Thursday that the state will begin working with colleges and universities to establish vaccine clinics on campuses across the state. These higher-education clinics will start on various campuses next week and offer the one-dose J&J vaccine.
