Ohio’s Role In The 2020 Primary: “It Kinda Means A Lot.”
TOLEDO, Ohio — The deadline to register for the Ohio primary was Tuesday, and some know what that is; others do not. What is the Ohio Democratic Primary? This is a vital part of the presidential election as there are countless democrats buying for President and this should be a way to determine what candidate is viewed favorably by voters.
Ohio will be a state to watch out for in 2020 as Ohio is a swing state, which means that the state has a 50/50 chance of voting blue or red. The state was won by Barack Obama in 2008 as well as 2012. With that, Ohio has been dubbed as a state that is key in determining the President of the United States.
Although, as mentioned in previous reporting, Ohio is notorious for voter purging: the act of removing an voter for what can be inactivity in voting. Even though that is not always the case — especially in Ohio.
