TOLEDO, Ohio — One of Toledo’s most famous eateries is once again partnering with the Salvation Army of Northwest Ohio to fight childhood poverty in the area with special events this 2020 holiday season.

On December 2nd, Tony Packo’s® kicked off their ‘Pierogies Against Poverty’ push in conjunction with the Salvation Army. For every order of the restaurant’s new pierogis purchased at their locations through December 24th, they will donate $1 to the cause of childhood poverty.

In addition, the well-known Salvation Army bell ringers will be present at the Original Tony Packo’s at 1902 Front St. on Thursday, December 10th to accept donations. This single-day event will be accompanied by a special promotion for customers to receive one, free world-famous Packo’s hot dog upon the presentation of a coupon that will be shared through email and online.

Packo’s has been meeting and exceeding local and state guidelines for COVID-19 and wants to assure all its customers they can visit every Packo’s location and feel safe and secure in a clean, healthy environment.
