Sports: 2021 Marathon Classic just days away
The tournament will provide local businesses with an economic boost.

TOLEDO, Ohio — July 5th marks the beginning of the 2021 Marathon Classic, a six day event, featuring women golfers from around the world, a tournament that now serves as a precursor to the September Solheim Cup, which will include golfers from both the European and American teams.
“We are excited to bring back spectators and fans. So, it will be nice to have some people out there, to hear some cheering and for the ladies to play in front of a crowd again,” said Paige Ottaviano, a Management Consultant with the Marathon LPGA Classic.
