Sports: Former pro basketball player hosting tryouts Sunday
The tryouts will be held at Lourdes University.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Sunday, former pro basketball player Dennis Hopson is hosting basketball tryouts as part of his Hopson Elite Basketball Club.
The tryouts are open to those in the 3rd and 4th grades, as well as those in grades 5 through 6. The 3rd and 4th grade tryouts will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Lourdes University Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center, and the 5th and 6th tryouts will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Both tryouts will be followed by a Q&A regarding the program.
