TOLEDO, Ohio — If you’re interested in filling one of the two at-large seats open on Toledo City Council, Sunday the 18th at 11:59 p.m. is your deadline to submit an application.

You can do so at toledo.oh.gov/councilvacancies. There, you’ll find a link to that form, which asks for a bit of personal information and includes a box to submit any media. Note that in order to be eligible, you have to have lived in the City of Toledo for at least a year. Council plans to vote on both spots during their regular meeting on the 28th at 4 p.m.

In the meantime, to hear from current members of council, you’re invited to attend the next few public meetings — in an ongoing series — which will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on their selective dates. Locations vary.
