The Blade Holiday Parade: What you can expect

The parade didn’t take place in 2020, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but will takeover downtown Toledo this year!

TOLEDO, Ohio — This year’s Blade Holiday Parade will step off at the corner of Summit & Jefferson in downtown Toledo and feature marching bands, balloon appearances from Oscar the Grouch, Elmo, Baby Smurf, Big Blue Bear & the Big House, and more. As for this year’s grand marshal, it’ll be none other than Olympic Bronze-medalist O’Shae Jones!

Event organizers say be sure to dress warm, as it will be a chilly Saturday in the glass city. For more on this annual event that brings our community together, click here.
