The University of Toledo, ProMedica to remain academic partners

TOLEDO, Ohio — The University of Toledo and ProMedica will remain partners in education, the university announced Wednesday.
According to the news release, this new agreement that has been finalized replaces the original one from 2015. The university says it “continues the original intent of the partnership to attract and retain the best medical students, residents and fellows to Toledo and support access to high-quality healthcare in our community.”
Under the new, 10-year agreement, ProMedica’s financial support for the College of Medicine and Life Sciences will continue.
