Toledo Fire & Rescue Department provides update on Cresthaven Apts. fire

30 families were displaced due to the blaze.

TOLEDO, Ohio — The massive fire at the Cresthaven Apartments is contained and people are being asked to avoid the area. Fire officials say everyone made it out safely and no first responders were injured. As for an origin of the blaze, fire officials have no official location or cause. Pvt. Sterling Rahe of the Toledo Fire & Rescue Department says the investigation is ongoing.
