Toledo-Lucas County Health Dept. hosting ‘Vax to School’ event
The events will provide students will multiple incentives to get the shot.

TOLEDO, Ohio — The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department is encouraging all students to get vaccinated ahead of the 2021–2022 school year. The health department is hosting a ‘Vax to School’ event every Saturday in August, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Several items will be provided, including masks, hand sanitizing lotion, lunch bags, and backpacks.
Gift cards, up to $100, will be provided to those 12 years and older who are receiving their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
