TOLEDO, Ohio — Saturday, the Toledo Lucas County Public Library’s Caldecott Read-In tradition returns!

For the past 48 years, the event has brought together teachers, librarians and children’s book fans to read and examine dozens of books and then vote to predict the winner of the Caldecott Medal.

The event is virtual this year, but attendees will still receive a list of the best books of the year along with librarian reviews of the library’s top ten favorites.

A live discussion and voting will predict the TLCPL’s 2022 winner.
