Tomorrow: New Lucas County commissioner to be sworn in
Lucas County Auditor Anita Lopez will finish out the term of Tina Skeldon-Wozniak, who retired near the end of last year.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Saturday, the The Board of Lucas County Commissioners congratulated county auditor Anita Lopez on being selected by the Lucas County Democratic Party Central Committee to finish out the term of retired commissioner Tina Skeldon-Wozniak. Once Lopez completes that, she will have to run and be elected by voters to maintain the seat for a full term.
Lopez’s swearing-in is set for Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the board’s hearing room on the first floor of One Government Center in downtown Toledo. The commissioners’ organizational meeting will follow at 11 a.m.
