Traffic Alert: Section of Secor Road to close in January

TOLEDO, Ohio โ€” A stretch of Secor Road will be closing in January, according to the city of Toledo.

The city, working with the village of Ottawa Hills, will replace the bridge that carries Secor Road over the Ottawa River.

The closure is from Valleston Pkwy. to Towerview Blvd. and will begin on January 3rd.

The project includes the replacement of the existing bridge and the installation of new approach pavement and sidewalks.

Traffic can detour by taking Bancroft Street to University Hills Boulevard to Douglas Road to Dorr Street during the closure. Detour signage will be placed in both directions.

According to signage currently in the area, the closure will last a little over 200 days.
