Trump Organization convicted on 17 counts of Tax Fraud
Tuesday presented yet another legal headache for former President Donald Trump.
TOLEDO, Ohio — The Trump Organization has been convicted on 17 counts of tax fraud.
Charges included conspiracy and the falsification business records.
The verdict was handed down on the second day of jury deliberations in a case brought on by the Manhattan District Attorney.
According to the Associated Press, this case was built largely on testimony from Allen Weisselberg, the Trump Organization’s former finance chief.
The company could face a fine of up to $1.6 million.
