Two Ohio lawmakers introduce bill to decriminalize marijuana
The bill was introduced early this week.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Ohio State Representatives Casey Weinstein (D) OH-37 and Terrence Upchurch (D) OH-10, Tuesday, introduced legislation to decriminalize marijuana in the state of Ohio. But will the legislation pass and create a brand new industry in the state? I spoke with Rep. Weinstein for more on the bill.
“Ohioans approve of it, overwhelmingly. The demand is extraordinary and it’s actually being expanded administratively. Now, so, there’s that. Then there’s the fact that many states have moved forward with legalization, at this point,” said Rep. Casey Weinstein (D) OH-37.
