TOLEDO, Ohio — It’s the type of story where you just can’t help but worry — and wonder. Two Toledo kids go missing, and aren’t heard or seen from in 5 days.

Cszera Reyes, 13, and Samari Knighten, 7, disappeared from the 3000th block of Hartman in Toledo last Thursday night. Cszera was wearing a red sweatshirt with black leggings, and Samari was wearing a pink shirt, grey and pink leggings, and a blue jacket.

The sisters, according to police, were in the care of their legal guardian, Jerrielyn Freeman, who claims the girls’ mother, Latoya Overton, has been plotting to get them back in her custody since the day they left.

Freeman claims she checked on the two Thursday night, and says they were gone by Friday afternoon.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call or text Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
